The HomeFinder™I Getting to the scene is a difficulty most emergency personnel face each and every day when responding to emergency calls. Traffic is sometimes difficult to get through and weather conditions aren't always the best. Compounding the difficulties of getting to the address of the call is the inability to read house numbers. Thanks to an ingenious idea developed by a London Fire Fighter, there is now an easy way to assist emergency personnel to find your home. It's called the HomeFinder ™ and its very simple to install. It is simply an aluminum plate covered on one side with a special diamond prism sheeting. All you have to do is mount the plate behind your own existing numbers or mount any style or colour numbers to the plate and then mount the plate to your house. It's just that easy. Now here's how this simple but effective plate works. With the plate mounted behind your numbers, as light illuminates the plate, the reflective sheeting reflects the light back outlining your house numbers which block out the reflecting light. Emergency vehicles with their flashing strobe lights best illuminate the plates, making your house numbers jump out.
